2 min read

Launched in 2015, the Jordan Brand Wings Scholars program provides scholarships and resources to help committed high school students identify their true potential through education. The 2026 class brings 34 students from across the United States into the Jordan Brand family. In addition, the Jordan brand currently provides exceptional high school students in the United States with scholarships to meet their educational objectives debt-free, with 23 partners.

In April, Wings made a special surprise at the Jordan Brand Classic, a major showcase for the best high school basketball players in North America for the first time since 2020, to announce scholarship winners, celebrating excellence on the court and in the classroom.

“Most people don’t understand, but as an undocumented person like me, we struggle a lot… and this scholarship has given me an opportunity that no one else has given me,” says Rodolfo Castillo, an incoming scholar. Jordan learned about his scholarship in Brand Classic. “This scholarship is opening many doors for me.”

Support for the Jordan brand does not stop at scholarships. Wings is an initiative to support students throughout their college experience and beyond. Through this program, students can fully focus on their studies without the stress of college payments or loans and get the opportunity to go to the school of their dreams.

Adrian Allen, a 2022 Wings Scholar who later earned a Wings internship and will soon join the Jordan brand as a member of the North American marketing operations team, says the Wings Scholars program gave her room to focus on academics. During her college years and her way of life changed.

“I was able to dig into my studies and find out what I liked and what I didn’t,” says Adrian. Then they not only removed the economic aspect, but also brought a sense of community. This network has gone deeper than scholarship.
