Stephen A. Smith denounced Kiri Irving’s hypocrisy for trying to reunite with LeBron James and for abandoning Kevin Durant.

Kyrie Irving became a topic of discussion in the NBA this week when a report claimed that he and the Brooklyn Nets were confused about trying to agree on a new contract for the player. This opened the door for Kiri to step down, citing the Los Angeles Lakers as the ‘biggest threat’ to signing an experienced guard.
Irving is in talks with LeBron James about reuniting in Los Angeles, four years after the Cleveland Cavaliers played together. It will be a shocking move, but with all the talk, not many people will be surprised if it actually happens.
On the other hand, not everyone is happy with Kyrie’s recent moves. He had gone to Brooklyn with a mission he had not yet completed and would now bail Kevin Durant to reunite with LeBron James.
Stephen A. of ESPN. Smith, as usual, wanted to say a few words about the situation, calling Irving for his earlier words about LeBron. During a recent version of First Tech (via the New York Post), Smith wanted to say:
“He is already calling LeBron. He’s calling LeBron, “Smith said.
“Remember the man he left, that he didn’t want to be a sidekick or a little brother? Remember that? Remember that [Brian Windhorst]? Remember that [Monica McNutt]? I know he’s calling LeBron these days. Isn’t it beautiful how the world turns out? There was a soap opera called ‘As the World Turns’. That ‘Aaj Kiri turns.’ It’s a soap opera. We’ll hold on to it all summer. He is here. “
Furthermore, he focused on Kayari’s path to managing the situation and how he now plans to release Kevin Durant, while KD did nothing but protect him.
“We all know KD has nothing but ammunition to get you off the bus, and he didn’t,” Smith said, speaking directly to Irving as if he were a spectator on a guard show.
“The same brother with whom you went on the podcast a few years ago and you said, ‘It’s nice to be with someone, this is the first time in my career where I don’t care if someone takes the last shot instead of me’ – which was clearly a shot at LeBron.” With whom you are on the phone and now you are thinking of reuniting! ”
This is a very complicated situation for Kyrie, whose services are now of interest to 29 teams. It is not certain he will leave the Nets this summer, but given the recent developments, injuries and off-court issues could happen to a player who has lost several games in the last two seasons.
